I'm not sure where January and February went, but March is upon us!

By now you should start seeing the new growth on plants and trees. Some of the decidous trees have bounced back faster than others, but they will all be budding out again very soon. The spring foliage is always a beautiful site.

Our maintenance crews are still in the rejuvenation pruning process and will be for the next several weeks. The maintenance crew is being instructed to focus on the dead on the periphery of the plants in most cases unless the interior of the plant is very woody and then we we will be more aggressive with the rejuvenation pruning to encourage interior green growth.

Weeds are still a point of emphasis and we've had spray techs working 6 days per week for the last few weeks to be sure we counteract the weed growth from the rain we had a few weeks ago.

We hope you have a great week, and enjoy the best weather of the year! Feel free to reach out with any landscape concerns you have!

Trim Cycle Rotations:

- The winter application of granite pre-emergent continues as we speak. .
- Frost damage is being removed via pruning as we come through each cycle.
- As fast as tree debris fell, we are already seeing some trees showing new buds. Arizona's tree life cycle is certainly very unique.

Water Management:
-  We will be approaching a more spring-like watering schedule as the daytime temperatures continue to increase.
-  Dormant grass watering remains once a week this time of year in most cases and that's primarily for trees in the grass areas.
-  Rye grass watering is 3 times per week at most right now in most cases and never the day before we mow as the rye grass tends to hold more moisture due to the cooler days and less evaporation.
- If you notice evidence of heavy runoff or excessive watering, please inform us, as it may be a few days before our maintenance crew returns to the site.
